Alright, where to begin, where to begin?
Uuuuuh, well, to explain more about my mother dying, it was cancer, it was sad, and it's over with. For more details about this tragedy, contact me at a later time with your questions. This journal is about better, less icky stuffs.

So, some of you may know I'm engaged. I cannot remember if I posted a journal about that on deviantART, or just on my social networking pages. For those interested, here is a link to the actual event of getting engaged (aka, my proposal to Stephanie [~elvenvampire]): [link]
We're getting married on October 31, 2009 in Xenia, OH. I'd tell you the name of the church, but I can't remember the exact title. But, anyway, yeah, it's moving along nicely. Her grandfather is paying for our new bed. Her mother is handling the wedding dress and cake that I designed. See link to the cake here: [link] I think the lady doing it will do a fine job.
Stephanie has a lot of connections. In fact, the place we're holding the reception is owned by her uncle, so that's good. The only thing my family is handling is the honeymoon. My dad has offered to pay for a 7-night cruise to the Caribbean. I can't tell you how exciting that is. I have chosen my best friend, Sparrow as my best man. Frankly, even though my brother Jesse should be my best man, I'm much more interested to see what Sparrow will say for his speech. And, I swear to God-Almighty... if the speech has ANYTHING to do with the Fresh Prince of Belaire, I'm going to laugh, and then kick some ass.
Back to business - I'm still in school for graphic design/photography. I still work at the cinema nearby, and I still need to exercise.
I've been doing a lot of outside activities since it got warmer. Frisbee, catch, biking, and walks. I'm trying to watch what I eat, and when I eat it. Because we all know eating out of boredom is a horrible thing.
I'm 21 now. Still never drank, done drugs, smoked, or done anything most of you would consider a 'good time'. But, I have my friends, I play my games. I get by. In fact, I'm proud of my friends for having the self-control not to get themselves into bad situations or make complete asses of themselves just because it's considered 'fun' in the eyes of stupidity. I still entertain myself with late-night ghost hunts, building ridiculous things for photos or destructive reasons, and film short comedy skits with the good people of XSM. See my videos here: [link]
I like where I am. I like my friends, my family, my fiancee's family, and myself. I don't always get my work done, or follow through on my fantastically-awful ideas. But, the time I spend with the people whom I love the most is important and amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Know, wherever you are, or whoever you are, if I told you I cared for you, I meant it. And still do. Because I wouldn't put that kind of thought in your mind if I didn't absolutely mean it. To my friends, my family, and like-company, I care so much harder than I can show you now.
